Thanks for your comment, Nancy, and I’m sorry you had a bad experience with that shop. I’ve never bought anything from there so I have no experience to relate. However, I note that the shop has a lot of feedback and most of it is positive.

Do not buy from Aubie Jean Vintage. Packages are not shipped despite receiving payment from buyer, does not forward tracking numbers, lots of run around. Completely not trust worthy,

I think the reason Wayfarers have taken off so well is because they simply look awesome – almost always stylish and sophisticated.

I guess our experiences are different. I was living in NYC when I started this blog and now live in Toronto. I see people wearing them all the time, along with oodles of multicoloured knockoffs sold on street corners.

Hey I don’t care what others are saying about the Wayfarers. I have been a loyal Ray-Ban sunglasses wearer for over 15 years now, and will never stop wearing Wayfarers. They simply are classics.

Besides, Stuff White People Like is inaccurate – because MOST white people do not wear Wayfarers. I rarely see them on anyone, at least where I live. (New Orleans).

Yes the men’s selection is far wider than the lady’s – but there are a few “cool” frames they made for the girls over the years that I can still add to the site. I’ll try to get to that soon!

Thanks! I’m still getting tons of compliments on them and am trying to get friends to “go vintage”.

I checked out your site – good info there! I really enjoy the Shuron styles, although I think their men’s selection is a lot stronger than the women’s.

Rayban makes sunglasses in this style (Clubmaster), and Zenni Optical came out with some recently (7320) that are cheeeep. I own a pair of both

They draw cute nerdy girls like flies. They also scare girly girls. Maybe a problem for some, but not for me.
